Congrats!

I say this to everyone who has their first child. Get sleep when you can, when the baby goes down, you go down too. That goes for dad and mom. You will understand what I mean in a few days when you are sleep deprived and overwelmed.

Another thing, if someone offers you help, TAKE IT! I mean it take the help, don’t think you are fine and that you can handle it, pride is one thing but if you are treading water and tired take the help that is offered it will help you get ahead so you don’t feel so overwelmed (again…).

My first born had colic. He would only sleep in hour spurts and then be awake for two hours screaming in pain due to the gas. It was 4 months of hell, we didn’t follow the above advice and we paid for it. I wish I would have received that advice when my first was born…
